I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Great. I just earwormed myself. At least it wasn't with "Brandy".

Brandy, you're an earworm
What a bastard you can be
But the song my brain fears so madly
Is
I-I-I-I-IT'S A SMALL WORLD A-A-A-A-AFTER ALL

Our wings are not tired

Gronk. It is far too early to already be sitting on my plane waiting to leave for NYC.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ha! That destroyed my "Brandy" earworm without giving me the "Small World After All" earworm. So phooey on you.

So you're leaving on a jet plane? Don't know when you'll be back again?

Except for the fact that I get back Wednesday. At 2:30.

I've got just slightly less than a week to come up with going-away presents for people who are going to live in very foreign countries and don't need any more stuff. Feel free to chip in!

Also, dear God, overseeing exams is boring. I can't just leave them to it, because what with working on their assignments at computers nestled up next to each other the opportunity for talking is just too tempting, but I also can't help them, so I just... stroll.

Y'all should just fly out here and be locals for the duration of the World Series! Yes, I like this plan.

I like this plan too! Now all we need is a buttload of cash and a good excuse to take a week off work...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Reading material for the trip, maybe?

I think your most scientifically sound option is to buy some lottery tickets.

ETA: that was in response to Jars, not Emily!

Oh, I think they've pretty much planned that out already. They're pretty serious readers in their own rights. I did think about a subscription to audible.com or something, but I don't think they have mp3 players.
