Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Never wrestle a 17 year old for an Oreo. You are apt to fall against the cabinet and get a handle shaped bruise on your tush.

To sum up - OUCH

I think you misspelled "BWAH!"

yeah- if you stomp on their instep instead they'll probably drop the Oreo.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think you misspelled "BWAH!"
And HA!

I'd laugh, but it makes my tush hurt.

OH, OH, OH - the phone has been found. In the garbage at work. Of course, I had already replaced her sim card and a sweet someone is sending an extra phone. Not sure if the phone was damaged or not - will see when she gets home.

I can't recall if I worried in here about my doggie but just in case: she's probably fine. We have to withhold food for a day and then start her on chicken and rice but the vet doesn't seem worried so I'm going to stop worrying. Right now. Now. OK now. Any second now.

I'm sure I'll feel better after I get home and see her.

Compassionately intolerant

Doggie worries are so stressful!

Bartleby was really, really sick for the first 3.5 years I had him. So, in contrast, the occasional tummy trouble is old hat. I used to feel terribly guilty when I had to fast him for whatever gastro-woes he might suffer.

A good friend got mad at me for fretting so much and yelled (and he's not a yeller as a rule) "Goddammit Beej, that dog hit the f---kin' LOTTERY when he met you...get over it!!"

Point taken.

Whatever the worries are, I hope your pooch feels tiptop quicklike.

yeah it's tummy stuff. She was out in the desert with her Dad who spoils her in food ways that are not so good for her but she's his dog so I don't feel right objecting. I heard that when he told the vet what she had been eating the vet replied, "that would give any dog diarrhoea ."
