We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Vortex, "contributed to" is good, I think.

waves weakly at the Bitches

I had a good weekend, up until the "Thanksgiving leftovers" dinner I cooked for M & myself on Saturday (T-Day was at a friend's house, so no leftovers for us). Started feeling poorly, developed a fever, was in bed allllll day yesterday. No puking, though. I skipped that trend.

So, welcome back and happy (belated) birthday, DJ! Hugs and ~ma to everyone else, as appropriate.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Vortex, "participated in" also works.

I have had a croissant. It seems to be staying down, and more or less playing nice with my tummy.

Also, as of this morning, the all over body achiness is gone.

The worst may be over.

Sean, I'm glad you're feeling better. Go slow on the eating.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have had a croissant. It seems to be staying down, and more or less playing nice with my tummy.

That's great news - from your descriptions earlier I was afraid you'd been hit by the same kind of extreme nastiness I came down with on my honeymoon. (Invasive salmonella that required hospitalization & Cipro.)

I've been worried it might be salmonella. Especially for S, as she technically has a compromised immune system. But she's had it easier than me, and seems to be pulling out of it a little bit quicker.

It may still have been salmonella, but fairly mild if so.
