Well, look at you. All dressed up in big sister's clothes.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

We are home. ND's doctor apparently couldn't find the splinter, though he hacked away at his foot. Said doctor also apparently had a lazy eye. Oh dear.

My suspicion is that he removed the splinter without even knowing it. The splinter was white--almost the same color as the callous of ND's heel--and I barely could see it even after trying to get it out for half an hour.

Nonetheless. Oh dear.

Also, I have to get up in five hours, and I'm not remotely sleepy. This could be a serious problem.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Ugh Kristin & ND. Glad the ordeal is over. I'm really tired but I don't have to be up early so you can have my sleepiness.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yikes! ND! WTF? Here's to your heal healing fast.

ION. You'll never guess what I did tonight. I was sitting around playing xbox when I got a page from a rather Cute Graphics Girl. Asking what I was up to. Invited me over for some hanging out. There were 4 of us. We hung out. We chatted. They put in "Mrs Henderson Presents" [link] While watching said movie, I did this: [link] Yup, I knitted about 4" of soon-to-be-scarf. And doing pretty well, I might add. Two strings together even.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Foot-ma, ND. If there is any bit of splinter left in the foot, soaking it in warm water with epsom salt will help to bring it to the surface.

Can someone make the rain stop so I can sleep? So hurty.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

At least once a year I toy with the notion of dying my hair red. Thus far it's never actually, you know, happened, but the notion does keep coming back.

So - drawing upon the Hivemind, what do we know about dying hair which is naturally a dirty blonde shade, and currently - more by art than nature - a fairly light/golden blonde shade?

See, I just sort of expect it to go horribly wrong, and be pink or carrot-coloured, which would be heartbreakingly awful.

I'm not quite sure what shade of red, incidentally - I'm thinking maybe Scully, or whatsername from Six Feet Under. But open to suggestions.

(And quite possibly going to bottle out of doing it. But...one never knows.)

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Nora! I’m so sorry!

Oh, ick. Poor Sean and S.

My appointment is Tuesday.

Oh, thank goodness! You’ve waited so long for this. I hope it’s helpful.

Poor Drew! And Ginger!

People! Stop with the puking and the getting hurt. Not a good day in Bitches.

sj, I hope you’re getting some good sleep.

Mine is naturally about the color of yours, but is now a little darker than Scully. My hairstylist mixes the color. I can ask her what it is if you want. I'm pretty sure she mixes a deep red with a blonde.

ETA: I apologize for not knowing what's up with everybody. I've been skipping and skimming like crazy (mostly skipping) from being so behind for the last week, but I understand brackets are needed. Consider yourselves fully brakceted. (((((((((((buffistas))))))))))))))

Ooh! Yes please, Daisy! That's encouraging, because your hair is not even a little bit pink or carrot coloured! It is, in fact, a thing of loveliness!

Thanks, but nsm. I decided I would just get up and stay up. Maybe I'll take a nap later.
