Home from shopping. I finished nearly everything I wanted to get done today. The rest is mostly gift certificates. Now I'm going to try to sleep, since I slept less than two hours last night.

Annabel has her first tricycle as of this a.m., and she's already good at it. Her great-grandmother is trying to slow her down, not for safety, but to get "candid" photos of the action.

my brain doesn't want to be at work right now. Gronk.

New condo saga continues. Okay, remember the cabinet drama? I was at least comforted by the fact that I'd be able to get some of the boxes and detritus out of my apartment. I go down to my storage area only to find that it's FILTHY. It's full of construction crap, plaster, etc. Yes, I could clean it out, but why the fuck should I? I am LIVID. AGAIN.

Robin, you are a wonderful aunt coping with a very difficult situation. Hugs. As others have said, she’s a lucky girl to have you and your DH.

I’m so thankful for my friends, online and off. We had a wonderful day yesterday, and I’m eating yummy leftovers for lunch right now (AIFG). I am also very thankful for ND. Even when playing Rock Band for eight hours (!!), he brightens up my life.

Okay, I’m going to go back to not doing much of anything for a bit. It’s so nice not having Thanksgiving planning hanging over my head anymore.

In recent years, I've truly missed being in Michigan with my family on Thanksgiving. It's very comforting to have such a kind, welcoming surrogate family here in CA. And for that, I am thankful.

I'm sitting in a theatre again.

I had yummy leftovers available to me, but due to a meeting this morning that ran long and needing to be back in the theatre I ended up eating McDonald's food while driving across Los Angeles.

I can't wait to get back from Toronto and hopefully have a few days where I don't have to be running all over.

We had T-Day at my cousin's, so no leftovers. But we can't have that, now can we? Mom is cooking a full T-Day dinner today. To be eaten as leftovers.
