Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

Aww, first tricycle, so cute!!

Is this person a Buffista? Because she seems to fit the profile pretty well...

If she's not (and I dont' think she is...any of us in NYC and that age and height?), you should date her and make her one, Gris!

The status is NOT quo.

A belated HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone!

First, a mini-meara:

Jessica, I’m sorry to hear about your grandfather, but I’m so glad that the news didn’t end up being worse. Health ~ma to him.

So very sorry to everyone who had stomach issues yesterday! Poor things!

Vortex, I’m sorry you dropped the pie, but so glad it still turned out well. It looks DELISH.

GC, I hope GF is feeling better this morning. Poor sick lady.

Susan, I’m very sorry about the house news. Moving is never any fun, but it’s especially not fun when it isn’t your choice. I hope you find something even better.

let it be known, KT & ND made an excellent spread. KTs turkey smelled great, and tasted better. I'm waiting to make room for thirds. Mmmmmm.
Aw, thanks Omnis! I’m so glad it came out well.

Oh Cashmere, I’m so very sorry about your DH’s grandmother. Peace and strength to you and yours.

VW, your website looks great!

Robin, you are a wonderful aunt coping with a very difficult situation. Hugs. As others have said, she’s a lucky girl to have you and your DH.

I’m so thankful for my friends, online and off. We had a wonderful day yesterday, and I’m eating yummy leftovers for lunch right now (AIFG). I am also very thankful for ND. Even when playing Rock Band for eight hours (!!), he brightens up my life.

Okay, I’m going to go back to not doing much of anything for a bit. It’s so nice not having Thanksgiving planning hanging over my head anymore.

Thanks to KT & ND for a lovely Thanksgiving Dinner! The food was delicious and the company very enjoyable!!

In recent years, I've truly missed being in Michigan with my family on Thanksgiving. It's very comforting to have such a kind, welcoming surrogate family here in CA. And for that, I am thankful.

Our wings are not tired

I'm sitting in a theatre again.

I had yummy leftovers available to me, but due to a meeting this morning that ran long and needing to be back in the theatre I ended up eating McDonald's food while driving across Los Angeles.

I can't wait to get back from Toronto and hopefully have a few days where I don't have to be running all over.

We had T-Day at my cousin's, so no leftovers. But we can't have that, now can we? Mom is cooking a full T-Day dinner today. To be eaten as leftovers.

Dude. That sucks. I just had (for breakfast, cause after midnight shopping I slept til noon) two plates of leftovers. Mmm. Turkey, stuffing (not technically a leftover cause I made it just now so I could eat it) and green bean casserole, and cranberries. Mmm. AND I have pie in the fridge. Mmm.

Oh, and everything I'd said before about Rock Band and Guitar Hero? I take it back. Changed my mind. I kinda like it. Guess I'm gonna need an XBox 360.

ION, I have achieved something more ridiculous than thumb blisters from video game controllers: My throat is a little raspy from singing for hours on Rock Band. Truly ridiculous. :P

Yeah, it does suck.

I'm also just having a bleh day. My family seems to have forgotten that I've been doing this production of A Christmas Carol during Thanksgiving week for the past 5 years, so I've gotten a few phone calls asking if there's any way I can make it down. I wasn't able to. They didn't start asking until this past weekend. No one informed me that my sister actually few out for it, and her husband, and my niece. So I'm pretty much feeling like I suck. I'm going down there for Christmas, but I have a trip to Toronto for work that doesn't get me back to LA until late on the 22nd, so I won't be heading down there until the 23rd. I know I can't deal with them for much longer than a few days, but I'm still left feeling like I really suck and I really don't care about my family.

I guess the fact that I'll be out of town and very busy from the 27th to the 1st is going to be a good thing.

Sorry to be such a downer during the holidays.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have no leftovers. We could have brought some home, but S and Bro-in-Law have three kids, and we figured the endless hungry maw which is teenagers trumps our needs.

can the kin come up from SD and see the show? Do dinner up here? Just an idea.
