My (very nice!) neighbor waited till 9:30 to crank up two vacuum lawn mowers and the leaf blower this morning. 10:30 would have been better. Gronk.

I am proud to report that the hit of the family Thanksgiving was the blue cheese mashed potatoes I brought. Teh yum.
I am at work and anxious about the arrival of my niece tonight. She has been through three rehabs and got kicked out of her mom's house and college. She is VERY smart though, and does well academically, so should be able to get into the schools she is looking at out here. Oh, and she is also bulimic. J is spending the day taking all the alcohol out of the house. Oy. Aunthood is awesome, but sometimes it's a little nerve-wracking.
