SPP, did you really go to BMC? If so, when were you there? I'm a 1996 graduate. Kinda got stuck in the area, too.
I'm STARVING. I think I will have ice cream for dinner. I also have to face the grocery store, but I don't think it'll be too bad by the time I get there.
Seamus is a great little kitty. He also has horrible cat breath.
I have spent the day cleaning house, doing 3 loads of laundry and a bit of cooking. I have some friends coming in tonight and then we're going to another friend's for T-giving. I've been needing to go to the grocery store to pick up some carrots. That's it. Just carrots. My friends just called from the store up the road from me and asked if I needed anything. Yay! I don't have to face the store! I have good friends.
And, I'm breathing better today. My peak flow still isn't great, but it's up a little bit. Still in the breathing-like-crap range, but getting better.
I need black olives and booze. Lots of booze.
You guys should eat at Zankou, if you're in Pasadena, as I suspect. God, I miss the Zankou chicken. There's lots of good mediterranean food here in NYC, but nothing that does it quite as wonderfully.
If you're not in Pasadena, you should still see if there's a Zankou near you. I want to live vicariously.
ChiKat - I hope it is wayyy better tomorrow.
I want to see pictures of the LAistas feast of cat food and PB&J
Sadly, we are not in Pasadena. We are deep in tha' O.C.
Crap, that's what's wrong, I'm in the OC.
um.. catfood... ewww. with mayo... Ugggg double eeew.
The band for La Posada was playing some 12-bar blues in the lobby, and the relaxness rid me of head ache. woot!
Yesterday I found out about Michelin Guides when I was watching
Shakespeare Retold: Macbeth
and "Thane of Cawdor" was translated into "Three Michelin Stars". Today the LA Times Food section is featuring an article about the first ever LA Michelin Guide calling it, "amateurish, confusing and barely credible." Weird coincidence. But yeah James McAvoy as sexy chef MacBeth = yummy. The extrememly graphic representations of food (expecially meat) preparations = nsm.
