I love cooking too, but these days I try to cook things that pass the toddler test, so nothing too fancy. Occasionally I get around to making a sauce for DH & me.
Sorry, vw, unless my night gets ugly I plan on being in bed by then, hopefully I'll be asleep too.

pass the toddler testAh yes. That does make a huge difference. My friend Mer says that cooking for toddlers is like cooking for frat boys. She has two (toddlers, not frat boys).
but I've made this my "me" time, if that makes sense, between school and homework.
That makes total sense. I feel like I'm barely home these days. I have my "me" time in the morning, usually. I get up early to make sure I get it. But that seems like a silly time to do major cooking, although, it's not a bad idea. By the time I get home in the evenings, though, I barely have energy to walk Toto and do the MUST do things. I haven't even been watching television at all. And I'm not complaining. I'm just stating facts. I'm really enjoying this semester--more than any semester so far. It's fun, but some things have just gone by the wayside so I can focus on school and tutoring.
