[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If I were made a vampire, when I rose from the grave I'd be looking for coffee.

Or maybe you could suck the blood of a caffeinated person? Or would it take too long for you to absorb the caffeine?

Thrive to spite them

I hit snooze on the alarm, until I realize I'm going to be late, then I run around and find my clothes and get in the shower and then get to work and sometimes I have a diet coke but I'm trying to stop. I actually had no caffiene for a week, but then I was weak and so I'm back on caffiene.

He dragged her to a bunch of campus's she was not interested and just walked around the grounds. From what she has told me so far they didn't do any other campus tours or talk to people - just looked around. How does that "sell" those schools to her? I appreciate him taking her out there, but he hasn't listened to what she wants and this trip was supposed to be for her. I know, color me unsurprised. I was just hoping he would be better with K-Bug than he is with me. Isn't that how grandparents often work?

Oh, dear. Well, I'm extra glad I was available on Friday to take her to the Health Services day at Northeastern. Good grief, though. I'm so sorry.

So I'd rise from the dead and then hang around outside Starbucks waiting for someone drinking a triple expresso?

Yeah.

Of course, I just realized a flaw in this plan. You probably wouldn't be able to catch them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes. The non-caffienated are the natural prey of the caffienated. I don't think it works the other way 'round.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

She was very interested in Northeastern, where she did get to tour the campus and go to an open house in the Health Sciences department. Apparently she was not impressed with their presentation.

Just as well. Northeastern's got a bit of a bureaucracy problem, from what I understand. Then again, it's rare for a school not to.

I myself hit snooze until I'm going to be late, then get up, hit the coffee button, jump in the shower. I'm usually out the door in just over a half hour after I get up, always later than I should be. With this setup I do manage to get coffee, but there've been times I've waited until work. I guess the adrenaline rush of the up-shower-clothes-subway sustained me until I got to work. Nowadays, of course, I have to be actually awake to commute, what with the twisty mountain roads. So I kind of need the coffee in advance.

I was gonna say!

Regis and Kelly is annoying. Why does my family torture me so?

Ok, this made me go "buh?", my girl isn't in NY. Oh, yeah. Ok....

I think I'm taking BART to the airport to meet her. They are already talking about how bad traffic is to the airports.
