OK, I just checked the forecast for Tulsa, where we're going for the week.
The high on Tuesday is supposed to be 80. Then 47 on Wednesday.
So, by my Pacific Northwest-adjusted standards, that's going from July, and a tad on the warm side even for then, to typical January in a 24-hour period.
Glad I checked before I started packing. It wouldn't have even occurred to me to bring shorts in November.
I am watching the beginnings of a knitting circle. Erin_O & I are over with KT. Those two are figuring out how to cast on. See, I always thought casting was a fishing thing. Shows what I know.
I've got Mr. Miyagi saying "cast on; cast off" in my head now.
Erin has an extra set of sticks. I have a 4" cast on. They are trying to figure out how to knit with this cast on. Then hopefully they will show me.
I have a 4" cast on
Somehow, this sounds dirty.
I cannot textually render how fucking chuffed I am that the jacket fits Jilli, since I vastly underestimated the demand for the H&M Cavalli line, got there 45 minutes after the store opened, and grabbed the very last jacket. Also fought off a woman for it. \\o/! We need pictures, Jilli!
Assorted hugs & ma to them what needs 'em. I think I'm off to bed. At 9:30. On a Saturday. Sigh.

And this has turned into the "clap on" jingle in mine.
Bought a washer and dryer, and a wonder bar. No TV yet. I will probably bring my mac Mini to the new house with a spare-ish monitor so teh cable guy can tell if we're hooked up right. Pretty silly, on the whole.
this knitting shit is hard to do
Crocheting is easy, at least, compared to getting one's cat's claws unstuck from one's sweater without getting a snag.
