Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Today is my day for maternal freaking out. My baby girl flies to Boston to look at schools tomorrow. I had been ok with this....but now I'm not able to think about much else.

I'm not worried about the trip itself, just....what if she decides she actually wants to go to school there? So far away.

Okay, I think I have everything printed out that I need for my rush passport. Now it's time to run down to a rush processing agency in Santa Monica and pay a bunch of money for this to happen.

But, I'm here! I'll make sure she's taken care of. Promise.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

GC, have you heard of Paste Magazine? It's an Indie Music mag that comes with a CD of stuff. The mag is good, and the music is usually 4 star or higher. I think of the 12 months I've had it, only about 6 or so tracks got unchecked in iTunes. Anyhow, go to [link] and have a look.

Seconding that recommendation. Lots of good stuff, both in the mag and on the disc.

I need, need, need to get my passport. Not that I'm planning on leaving the country any time soon, but I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have one.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((Suzi))) K-Bug will be fine.

(((Sean))) I hope you get a long, restful night's sleep tonight with no nightmares.

Car-ma, vw.

I very rarely have fun dreams. I usually end up with anxiety dreams instead, usually school dreams or I've forgotten to do something dreams, like forgetting to buy Christmas presents. My newest anxiety dream, since having to have one of the prongs fixed on my engagement ring, is the ring falling apart.

Yeah, I fly to Toronto on the 27th, so this is needed for work.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I can't recall the last time time I had a nightmare. All I dream about is sex, sex, sex. Not that I'm complaining but sometimes I worry about my brain.
Laga is me (jeez, I've typed this a lot in the past 30 days or so. SPOOKY).

I think my normal sleep schedule will not be back on track until next week some time. But thanks.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So is there anyone else who rarely experiences chemistry on a first date?

Tom and I started out as just friends as well. I was just crazy about him as a friend though- thought he was the bee's knees. (I get the platonic crushes all the time with my friends).

But we were riffing off each other and making each other laugh during Buffista gatherings almost from the get-go, so there was a certain compatibility chemistry in play.

But sparked up chemistry... yeah, my relationship based on that was not kind to me.
