[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I just alphabetized about 200 forms in preparation for our school giving a big test tomorrow. It took a while, despite using CS geekery to help
t huge CS geek out of practice I used a variation of Mergesort that hit its smallest grouping at about 15 rather than 2. Since I have hands and eyes, sorting by insertion was plenty efficient at that level. I decided on mergesort because it was easier to implement with actual paper than quicksort, mostly because it's hard to keep track of the recursive stacks when they get small. It worked well. t /huge CS geek out of practice

Dinner:
Drew, there will be chilled tomato-cucumber soup and honey pecan chicken in the fridge for you.
Oh Beverly I've been there. wheee! indeed. I hope you find a good facility, nearby, etc. I'll be thinking of you.
Damn, I wish I was Drew. That was a much better dinner than I had.
That's what I was thinking, vw. But since it looks like I'll be having yummy vegetarian Indian food, I'm not gonna complain.
ooh that soup sounds good. Chunky or pureed?

Still better than my McD's cheeseburgers. I'm not gonna complain either, though. Just noting that it sounds really yummy.
Hey, any West Coasters gonna still be up at midnight your time? I need a wake-up call. I'm terrified I'm going to sleep through my alarm.
Pureed! And thanks for saying it sounds good, loves. Cooking is one of my favorite things lately--a true break from being in my head or on stage. I made pan-seared salmon with fresh tomato-basil relish and orzo with olive oil on Sunday night and Polynesian pineapple chicken (stir fry) and brown rice last night. Tonight chilled tomato-cucumber soup and honey pecan chicken...and I'm thinking maybe some new potatoes on the side.
They're all pretty simple recipes from a Weight Watchers Make it in Minutes book. They lie about the "minutes" thing, though. Unless they mean 60-90 minutes. I'm a really slow prepper, though, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
