I think my genes were set out with a ruler, because I can't think of any woman I've ever met who I wanted to kiss with more than "Oh, it's Aunt Hazel, must kiss" interest.

I'm not sure if I'm girly, Meara. I mean, people don't often mistake me for a boy, unless they are super-lazy and thinking "short hair, minimal to no makeup...check." But I tend to alienate really girly girls, so... And then there's the crime-scene thing. Which is my biggest "male" interest, but girly girls don't like it in me. I found out in SF that I like Kissing women, too. It's a different thrill, but a thrill nonetheless. Also, no facial stubble. That's nice, actually.

meara, I wish you could meet my friend, Angie. She's adorable and petite. Not exactly butch but she's definitely not femme. Years of living in Europe have given her a little bit of polish but she's very down to earth and has travelled all over the world.

Too bad she's living in Switzerland right now.

For women, my type would be women like Karina Lombard, Christina Cox, or Samantha Ferris. Where do they fall in classification? I don't think of them as femme or butch.

Men my type would be the taller the better, brown hair brown eyes. However I have married 6'5" dark and 5'6" fair, so I guess I don't have any fast rules.

T is driving me crazy. A month ago I told her to come for Thanksgiving because her BF was going away for the weekend. She didn't want to book it then. Now, she sounds miserable and depressed and the flights are too expensive. Not sure what to do.

Remember how my car was all ready and just waiting for the paint to dry? Well, it's not ready, if ready means "you can take it home". I'm not sure what the guy meant by "ready on Saturday or Monday" because apparently they are now still waiting for another part. And it should be ready on Friday. I hate this island so much.

(And yeah, I'm kind of jumping from body shop to entire island but *everything* works that way here.)
