{{Kristin}} That's how I feel about cleaning my house, this week.
Eta: you're taking those as-needed meds?
'Not Fade Away'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ugh Kristin that sucks.
In other Hell House news, the real thing is actually funnier (to me) than the pardoy. Dig that slogan on the banner ad!
edit: OK maybe funny isn't the right word. I think I threw up in my mouth a little when I read about the connection between the abortion room and the heaven room which includes a "joyful reunion in heaven." leh.

Thanks, P-C! S and I are sort of mainlining both shows at once. We watched UK S1 all the way through, then went through US S1 immediately after.
We've just watched Ep 1 of UK S2.
It's hard, as the two shows are becoming somewhat jumbled together for both of us, but they are both brilliant, and heartbreaking, and unbelievably funny, and painful, and heartbreaking, oh and did I mention heartbreaking?
And not just Jim and Pam, which I was sort of aware of, but I was unprepared for how heartbreaking Tim and Dawn were going to be. Not to mention so many of the other characters, but above all the beautiful and sad and heartbreaking and just unbelievably awkward and (unintentionally) funny David Brent. Ricky Gervais has created one of the most sublime performances I've ever seen. Both shows have incredible casts that deliver SO MUCH emotion and meaning with little glances and awkward expressions, but Gervais is the master craftsman.
EDIT: Um, yeah. I seem to have gone over the deep end.
Oh, Kristin. Sorry for the suck.
I don't need to have Sox speak for me, although she's very good at it!
my sincere apologies d!!

I'm picturing an apartment full of hydroponic marijuana.
Do you see her electric bill? Here they've found quite a few suburban houses in which everything was taken out of the house and the whole house turned into a giant pot factory. One giveaway was the power bill for 24 hours a day of high intensity lighting.
No, Sox! I merely meant that I should speak up! Sorry, didn't mean to sound accusing but complimentary instead.
{Kristin} Hope your inundated feeling goes away soon.
Thanks. I've sorted through the maelstrom on my desk, made (another) list, answered a ton of emails, took notes on the reading I'll be discussing with my class tomorrow, and packed my bag. I have to grade the last 25 in-class essays tonight, which I'm really not looking forward to, but I'm not feeling quite as much on the verge of a nervous breakdown anymore.
