I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well, no--I do have limits. Whales, dolphins, and anything in the ape/monkey family. Those are the only non-visceral restrictions I've placed on myself. Or, perhaps, discovered I had. It's not something I've much questioned or thought through. I just wouldn't feel comfortable.

Add "pets" and you're me (no dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits... like that)

Barillia makes a protien pasta I really like. [link]

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I almost bought that today but I went with the store brand and saved $1.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I love quorn

Ugh, that stuff is terrfiying! As a vegetarian who is allergic to chicken, i freaked out the first time i tasted quorn - the texture is WAY too close to chicken. (At least, what i remember chicken texture being like. From the last time i tasted it, when i was 10.)

Trader Joe and Morningstar both make frozen veggie corn dogs that are marvelous.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm a huge fan of the whole wheat no-cholesterol egg noodles that Safeway carries. Otherwise, I'll go for the Barilla high-protein pasta.

my store brand is nummy but then cardboard would probably be nummy with all the prosciutto and cream in this sauce.

I like whole-wheat noodles just fine! And, um...haven't really tried much in the fake-meat world. I like eating meat. I just don't like to purchase and/or cook it. Too complicated, timing and skill wise.

Sigh. The GILF basically ignored me, and I just checked my email and my date for tomorrow cancelled on me! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Mostly lurking...

Yay for doggy for Ginger!

I love whole wheat pasta, so you must have just gotten some icky stuff, Cass.

I slept like crap. Stupid cough.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

My favorite non-meat burger these days are the Masala Burgers at TJ. So. Good. I like Morning Star's Spicy Black Bean Burger as well. Tried the Boca burgers, but they are just gross. Haven't tried these other things you are mentioning.

Whole wheat pasta is different, and sometimes not tasty. But I keep trying.

Man, I am so tired. Wanted to get good sleep this weekend, and got the opposite. Waking up in the middle of the night, not able to get to sleep in the first place, and waking up super early. Feh. Tonight I may take some sort of sleep aid.
