No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

dammit cassie, when will you learn?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hi.

Is the Empress hereabouts? Surely she'll see this, if not now, then later. Someone point it out to her, mkay?

DH is having both knees surged on Monday (and any spare ~ma would be appreciated). He ripped the hell out of the right one over a week ago, and then injured the left one compensating, so we're getting a twofer. He's in a lot of pain, and not mobile. Getting to and from the toilet requires a wheelchair and two people to steer and move things out of the way, provide support, etc. The two people have been StY and myself.

Tonight when we'd gotten DH back into bed after a successful and productive (and timely!) toilet visit, StY tucked him back under the blankets and told him, "Good girl, Daddy!"

...just...thought you'd want to know.

Trudes is right, Cass. You can't trust the faithless piece of furniture. It sucks you in with a promise of a sweet night cuddling together, and you wind up with bruises. Again. Kick its ass to the curb and find a nice tuxedo sofa to curl up on.

Serial posting. Just...pretend it's spread out over the last little while I wasn't here, 'kay?

eta: It's my family too. Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a changling.

See, this is the nice thing about outliving most of your family, and not being related to the ones that are left except by adoption. I am my own grampa, or something. No sociopolitical arguments. Well, except for with DH. But I know how to distract him, so he never wins anyway.

I'm getting the pig!

Cass, if we have to stage an intervention, we will. You're practically leaving us no other choice!

Bev, surgery and recovery vibes to your DH. Hang-in-there ~ma to you and StY.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It swears it's gonna change this time. And we sleep so good sometimes...

When it's not whomping my legs, that is.

Kick its ass to the curb and find a nice tuxedo sofa to curl up on.
Mrmph! Um, I do like a nice tuxedo...

Nicole, you know how good it can be though.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Bev! I'm so sorry about the stress, love. ~ma to you and DH and StY.

Cass, do we need to stage a intervention? (x-posty with Nicole!)

Raining out. Took dog for short walk. Brought toy to lobby so we could play fetch with doorman who loves her. She had no interest in playing.

NOW she wants to play.

It's not like that with Futon and me. We're good together, I swear.
