Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm so full of respect for the moms and dads around here and the work they do to raise their kids. You guys deserve way more than one mothers' or fathers' day a year.

For reals.

(though I do admit snerking to the thought of Liv trying to eat all the toothpaste in the tube- totally sounds like a maneuver my niece would do too.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We have heat! TCG figured out how to get it started today.

Yay, d's dad! That's fantastic news!

Yay, Emily's dad and yay for benefits!

Nora, TCG had what he calls the "Nora and Tom beer" last night and he greatly enjoyed it. Thanks again for sending him home with a bottle.

Thirded.

Also, yay for fantastic news about your dad, Emily!

I have off today, so I'm about to run errands and pick up comics. Then I am reorganizing my desk/nerd hole area. Yay?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Me too with the respect. I also love reading everyone's stories about the tribilations and rewards of parenting. As a non-kidded person who loves children, it is a side of life I am not part of and I love getting to see it through Buffista eyes.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Funny Em story:

She is in total dress-up phase. Loves dressing up. She plays for hours in her Halloween costume and a flower girl dress that *I* wore when I was her age. She will twirl and spin and play with her dolls.

Yesterday, she assigned us roles.

Em: "Daddy, you da king. I'm da Pincess."

Joe: "What's mommy?"

Em: t deep in thought "Momma, you da bad, evil WITCH!!"

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Momma, you da bad, evil WITCH!!"

Hee!

I wonder where she came up with that?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aw, you guys. I'm all misty-eyed now.

And that reminds me - fellow Buffista parents, have you seen ParentHacks.com? I found it via Jumping Monkeys, which I found via Moxie, who I found via Stephanie, and it is effing brilliant.
