Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I got plenty of sleep but at some point the dog climbed in with me and instead of waking up I just made room for her which has resulted in a very stiff back this morning. Which is doubly cruel because I spent last night before bedtime writing about two of my characters getting massages.

Our wings are not tired

I'm really not looking forward to working all night in Beverly Hills tonight. I need to catch a nap at some point.

The status is NOT quo.

You're stuck out all night? Damn. Yeah, try to get some sleep this afternoon, hon.

Laga, bummer about the bad back. Take a bath, maybe?

I might try a bath when I get home tonight. Dennis is due back in the wee hours so I'm going to try to go to sleep early so I can wake up and welcome him home.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

OK, write this down--a first compliment from New Boss.

She asked me to look over a letter she was drafting, and I played with the grammar and word choice a bit. She said it looked great and thanked me, and I said, "Well, copyediting is one of the things I do." And she said, "And very well."

Yay Susan!

I think I'm going to take that bath idea and run with it when I get home. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Wonder if I have any good bathy stuff left.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Hmm, baths. I don't like to take one in my bathtub (too small and uncomfortable), but I just got off the phone with Mom, whom I'm going to see for Thanksgiving, and I'm now reminded that she has a nice jacuzzi tub in her master bath. I think I'm going to snag it at least once while I'm out there.

Now tagless for your comfort.

How goes the transition?

Remarkably well, now that the painters are gone and our cable in connected and our internet is up.

Welcome back to the real world, Cashmere.

I've felt surreal for a long time now. You guys are like a touchstone for me!

Poor little bean, Dylan!

As soon as I can dig out my usb cable, I'll have pictures of the kids and the house.
