[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, no, no. Give it to me. I need motivation. Mine took off so long ago, I don't think it remembers where home is.

Our wings are not tired.

Kristin, I think my motivation may have taken off with yours. Hope they are having fun.

Sad news on the doggy front. My sister and parents took Darcy to the fancy surgeon vet and he did not have good news. He said he could fix her, but she would still be paralyzed from the neck down. No way for a mountain dog to live. She had 3 of her loved ones with her. RIP Darcy. A picture of her in happier days on her dock in Otter Lake. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm sorry, Laura. That's so sad. {{Laura and family}}

Aw. Bless Darcy and all who loved and were wagged at by her.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm sorry, Laura. And one last "Good Girl, Darcy".

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Laura, I'm so sorry.

Darcy got in a good one before she left us though.

When I was out at Mom's this weekend I found out her neighbor's dog had gone missing. Joey is eight or nine and his Darla had been goine for three days. Since it is in no way a rural area we were pretty sure she'd been hit by a car. I kept saying "Darcy found her way back, and she was hurt".

My sister heard dog whimpering at two in the morning, grabbed a leash and ran outside with no shoes. Darla was home! She wouldn't let my sister leash her and my sister banged on the neigbors door until the light came on.

Joey opened the door and Darla flung herself into his arms. She's unhurt, just eating a lot.

Darcy's return gave us all a little hope. I'm so sorry she didn't make it, but at least she got home to her people before she passed.

Oh Laura, I'm sorry.

I came to post some "good" news. I just got the following news report...

The Alameda and Oakland Police Departments say multiple arrest and search warrants were served Tuesday in relation to the shooting death of an Alameda teenager. Officials say the warrants are the result of an investigation into the murder of 15-year-old Ichinkhorloo Bayarsaikhan that happened Halloween night.

{{{Darcy and her family}}} Rest in peace, beautiful friend.

Laga, you'd think our motivations would at least have the decency to send us a postcard or something.

Suzi, glad to hear that steps are being taken down the path of justice.
