Oh! Teppy, was it you who asked about
I'm going to make the dinner
as a language structure? Because...how else does one say that?
Someone (and now I forget who) said "going to" is a Southernism, and yeah, I was the one who offered "I'm going to make dinner" as an example. Because it doesn't sound like a regional language usage.
In completely shallow news, I want to get married just so I can have this ring: [link] [link]
(they're slightly different -- the little balls on the side and possibly the platinum in the setting. I'd really have to try them on and decide.)
T just sent me a couple pictures of the nephew on my cellphone (if I had any idea how to I would share). My older nephew suddenly looks like a teenager. When the hell did that happen?

Trudy, you've linked to the second one before, haven't you? Because it looks familiar to me.
I think I have. The Sheryl Crow picture is new though and making me all wibbly again.
Last I checked you have more than one finger. What is this "decide" you speak of.
I would like to tell you all what kind of aunt I am. My 20-year-old niece (the one who has been in and out of rehab) is staying with her dad in Holland. She called us, sobbing, to tell me her dad had been violent to her and thrown water at her. After a lot of talking, it came out that the ACTUAL story was that she had purged (she's bulimic as well) and left the bathroom a HUGE mess and the water was a wet sponge he had thrown at her when he told her she had to clean it up. My response (after speaking with her for an hour) was to send her this link: [link]
Luckily, she loved it and has forwarded it to everyone she knows.
I suppose I could walk around looking like Mr. T...
I love this designer. He actually puts gems in 24 karat gold. I've seen a few of his pieces, but not that particular ring.
Should choice A prove absurdly priced (or too gigantic), choice B is one of his stacking rings: [link]
The small size is wonderful, I just don't like the hammered finish as much as the brushed.

They're doing surgery soon. I love how she's smiling in all the pictures, she looks like such a sweet little person.
Holy shit, she's a
spider
queen!
