I may have to put on this nice black skirt I have here, just to get in the Rocky Horror mood.
Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sean, that's just silly. Where would you get a black skirt?
VW, that is awesome!! Very happy for you:)
Aimée, sounds very hot, wish I could join you as the professor.
Sean, did I read correctly? iPhone? Hot!!!
Today has been 8 straight hours of heavy multi-tasking. Brain hurt. Can I go home yet?? Please?!?!
Sean, that's just silly. Where would you get a black skirt?
Dunno. It's just lying around the house here. I must have picked it up somewhere.
Sean, did I read correctly? iPhone? Hot!!!
iPHONE!
Also, I seem to never have your cell number in my phone, o_a. You should email it or text it me.

I have to share a happy.
The reason narrative comments take me so long is that I go through each student's folder before beginning to write her comment. I'm working on one of my favorites right now, and I just came across the parent feedback form I sent home in September. This student (we'll call her "Kelley") has two daddies. I met them at Back-to-School Night, and they are just the dearest souls, obviously deeply devoted to their daughter. The last question on the feedback form asks the parents to tell me something wonderful about their daughter, English-related or not. This is what Kelley's dads wrote:
[Student's real name] is wonderfully creative in every area of her life and has a heart the size of Venus and the most magical thing that ever has happened to us!!It just makes me so happy to see a kid who is so well-adjusted and such a total sweetheart and see how her dads are so in love with her.
She calls them her Dad and her Daddy. I just can't think of anything to say but "bless." Bless, bless, bless!
Coffee:
Vortex, right there with you with the jealous!
KT, right there with you on the jealous and the bless.
Sean - iPhone and a black skirt....hmmmmmmmm.
Lunch with buffistas is a great way to break up a frustrating day. So nice to see everyone and to be able to snuggle Miss Matilda - who knows how to mug for the camera.
Work programming drama now has a work around that involves processes that take hours to run, so I will be poking my head in and out of work stuff all weekend to see if one has ended do I can kick off the next. Oh joy, oh rapture. At least it is overtime.
School stuff sees me cursing my team mates yet again. Our last assignment is due tomorrow and two of our team mates are being slugs about doing their parts. I have enough points in the class to pass without this assignment, but still....get it together people.
And thus ends the whining portion of my post.
YAY vw on a great day at the conference and at lunch. I'm glad you were able to join us AND have such a fantastic time. The family has missed you this evening. It is very cute.
There was more but the zombies ated my brain.
