I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

hah! That's what my 6-year old niece is going to be for h'ween this year. We were joking about them having to wheel her around in her bed. Which she didn't think was funny for some reason. I guess she's playing Sleeping Beauty AFTER she's awoken by the prince.

Forget wheeling it around - here's a costume that gets you out of having to go to the party in the first place. Me likey.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Rapunzel would also work for that. "Sorry, trapped in the tower, you know how it is"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Mr Jane wants to make the front of the bar look like the bow of a ship and then fly a pirate flag from the rooftop deck for Halloween.

He is also crazy.

Heh. To be fair, the last couple of years I've gotten really in to it myself. But for those times when you can't manage being around the humans, it's still a great trick.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

GodDAMNit.

Just got an email telling us that although tomorrow is a faculty work day (no classes) so that we can work on writing scads of narrative comments, we have to be on campus.

WTF?!? Why? That is so fucking arbitrary. So I get to lose 2-3 hours of my "work day" to commuting when I could be working from home?

Last year they always let us work from home on comment-writing day. This is ridiculous. I'm pissed.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just got an email telling me that they chose a different candidate for a position I had applied for internally. The job requirements are a perfect match to my experience...but the job is in Denver. Oh well. I'll take solice in the fact that I got a personal e-mail in a timely manner instead of a generic message 2 months from now.

FIVE MORE DAYS.

I so feel you. We got a similar rug yanked after a long week of meetings and stuff when it was "clarified" at five minutes to twelve that

Noon: Wrap. Go Home!

on the schedule did not in fact mean we could go home. I about lost my shit.
