'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had TJ's chicken potstickers for lunch. Not extra-fabulous, but certainly tasty enough for a quick lunch.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Our landlords, unfortunately, are VERY anal and already did an hour walkthrough with me to point out what we needed to do in order to get our deposit back. After washing all the windows inside and out and washing the walls, they better fucking give it back, is all I'm saying.

OMGWTF Walkstations?

I remain unconvinced.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I had pumpkin pie w/ freshly whipped cream, tapenade and ricotta on crusty bread, salt and pepper potato chips, and chocolate chip cookies for lunch. A co-worker brought in the leftovers from a party he had over the weekend. YUM!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I heard that.

I apologize if this was already posted here, but I don't usually click on YouTube links: Wake Up Cat.

What are you going to name him/her?

Sue. No mortal can resist the retriever eyes. It's a law of nature.

You are doomed...in a totally good way.

I, on the other hand, am so glad the shih tzus are going home tonight...after 8 days!...love 'em like pancakes and very glad to see their adorable, fuzzy little faces heading out the door. They are so sweet/passive aggressive...and just plain aggressive...they make me love Bartleby even more...as if that is even possible.

Love that cartoon!

It's that time of the year again--I just had to send my boss my list of training I took this year (unfortunately, just the one class on the new in-house publishing system) as well as my goals for the upcoming year for my review at the end of the month. Oh, joy. I included a bunch of potential classes I wouldn't mind taking (an in-house one for our editing tool, a web-design class at the JuCo, reapplying for the MLS program at UofI and possibly Dominican).

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

OMGWTF Walkstations?

I remain unconvinced.

I can't walk and chew gum at the same time; there is no way in hell I could walk and TYPE at the same time.

I forsee a lot of workers' comp claims.
