Oh my god, do I want to work at Jungle Jim's thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much!
They are pretty kickass. The produce section carries durian fruit. (Which scares me.) And the cheese section purports to have the largest selection of cheese in the U.S., with over 1,600 kinds of cheese. That's a lot of cheese
Tep! I think Neil Gaiman referenced Jungle Jim's in his blog yesterday! Awesome.
I just checked -- he surely did! It would blow my mind to bump into Neil Gaiman in Jungle Jim's. But perhaps that goes without saying.
Have y'all seen this take on the Moore/Liefield thing? [link]
Noah is doing better than the rest of us right now, isn't he?
I just remembered the giggling video again. Dollface. I need to see him again sometime. Like, some time when I'm not on drugs.
It's best to see him on drugs!
He's doing okay. He is super congested and the pediatrician said to take him of the oxygen. So we did for 4+ days. Then the fires happened and by monday he was working harder than I would like to breathe so I put him back on. Now I think
I
want to be on his oxygen because I'm struggling to breathe.
He's a cute little giggle machine. We're lucky.
It was so bad that I left early today (Kristin, my school is the one that is in the bend on Sunset, west of your school).
Closer to the 405? I have west/east issues.
And yeah, really bad today in that area.
Working in Brentwood means that I'm even closer to the yuck. And yet, hard to complain when things are so much worse for people who have sustained actual losses and not just discomforts.
Yep, very much this, too.
I say, fight disturbing with the most awesome twee ever: [link]
JZ, that video is MADE OF AWESOME.
The Noah videos are adorable.

Oh, Rob Liefeld. You big talentless weirdo. So, basically, Liefeld was trashing Moore because....gasp!....Moore wanted to get paid for his work? Heavens forfend!
Had Liefeld illustrated V for Vendetta (for instance), the plot wouldn't have been nearly as disturbing as all the characters' missing hands and feet.
Towards the beach. There's a giant hairpin turn that goes downhill (driving towards the ocean) around a school campus, which is the school where I work.
I missed Noah videos, damn my skipping ways! I'll have to go find them shortly.
Glad he's doing okay, Kat.

Ah! Gotcha. I tutor down in that area (in the House of Many Living Rooms).
He is! Currently sleeping, which means I should go fold clothes. Or you know, write my log for work. Ugh.
