I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Subtitles should be hot pink.

Subtitles should be readable.

So Devi's picked up on the 3x a day routine for one of her meds already (I have to crush it and mix it with something tasty to avoid further punctured fingers.) She's holding down the floor staring at her dish, and me when I walk by.

She's going to be a pill once this course is done, isn't she?

(If she is truly hypo, I'm going with the expensive radio-iodine cure, cause pilling her regularly is a no-go, as is letting her be sick.)

Sorry to be all cats, all the time. They're a comforting part of my life, so when they aren't right? It sucks.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Tommyrot I've come to the conclusion that if someone came up and poked you pretty hard with a needle you'd bleed interesting weblinks.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It is cooooold (for me) outside. I, however, am inside with my pajama bottoms, my San Francisco sweatshirt, a glass of wine and my sweet puppy curled around my backside.

I have cleaned the house, washed the clothes, walked the dogs and finished my costume!

I can hear it on the air conditoner, which is a lot of the reason it was difficult to get out of bed this morning. Add to the rain and the chill and the dark, a warm husband and two puppies and it's a wonder I made it in.

That reminds me. Potential good news if the money works out. Mr. Jane may be working "day" shift. That means happy hour money, but off at 9. I may actually be able to sleep with my husband.

I have spent over half our marriage going to bed by myself.

brillig

tomorrow is a new day and HP is going to feel my wrath.

There's probably a story I missed, but I confess to wondering what Harry Potter had done now.

ha! i'm not sure i've actually posted about it, but i've been having trouble with the laptop LCD flickering, going dark and sometimes not coming up at all. i've been attempting to get it sent back to HP to get it repaired and they are giving me the runaround. someone was supposed to call me back my last night. they didn't. i'm in full on wrath mode at this point. this will be the third time in 10 months that i've had to send it in for some kind of repair. HP? never again.

ION still raining this morning and makes me REALLY want to stay in bed. *sigh*
