The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And because it didn't seem right to mix the two posts

ita breaking up with ER makes me sad, somehow, even though I did it long ago.

Welcome to the Hump. It's fun watching people be served live fish or lobster.

It really is. Man, I need to get back to LA soon.

Also, my hair is quite short, and very red. Just in time for colder weather!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Thanks, y'all. I've spent the afternoon trying to get hold of my brother, who is in Tierra del Fuego with his girlfriend (aside: they haven't been dating long, but she's a doctor, and I've been calling her Dr. Girlfriend, much to my brother's non-amusement). So far no luck. Today is also my sister's anniversary, and she and her husband are also off the grid. My mom thinks they may have flown to Hawaii for the weekend. Bad timing!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not over the sunny days, but as I went for a walk this morning in a long sleeved T-shirt, I was wishing it was a bit colder.

Yesterday I was wearing a t-shirt, capris, flip-flops, and was perfectly comfortable. Not right.

hip deep in pie

Aw, Corwood, that's really difficult.

I am making an apple pie using the December CI's pie crust recipe. Secret ingredient:vodka!! I was planning to make pie today anyway, but when I saw this recipe, I had to try it.

Also, Pushing Daisies is on again. I think I have the same paisley shirt that Emerson does.

vodka in the pie crust? REALLY? Wow.

I went to a softball game and say nieces team get hammered (14-1!), and then went to Target, which is just... dangerous. OTOH, they had my current favorite drinking red wine (Folie A Deux winery's "Menage a Trois", a nice blended red), and I bought a bunch of little containers for my toiletries when flying. I'm traveling too much this next month to check my luggage every time. So inconvenient.

Okay, and I just went to the TSA website, and WTF? Three-ounce bottles? So why the hell is Target only selling four-ounce bottles? Argh!

Yeah, it's all a conspiracy with the Trial Size Industrial Complex.

How wrong is it if I reschedule my career counseling appointment from tomorrow night because I don't feel like doing the homework tonight?

Don't be surprised if they come back with "fry cook" as your ideal career choice.

Ha! I'm going back and forth between: am I committed to this or not, and I'm paying her good money, so I should get the most out of it.

Crap. Maybe I'll just buckle down.
