Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's got to be a Sign of Something Wrong. Now, the question is, is it about the specific job, or working in general. Because if it's the first, presumably I could do something about it. If it's the second, I need to get a grip on reality.

It is. I think for me it's the specific job, and I should do something about it.

Soon, really.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Thanks! Yep, it's my birthday, the big 3-4.

It's suck yucky weather out- I kind of wish I could go with it and snuggle in all day long, but alas, I'll be leaving soon for lunch/haircut, and then driving to the Cape for a friend's bachelorette party.

It should be fun once I get there, I'm just not wild about driving down there by myself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm supposed to go to a birthday party tonight, and I just don't want to. None of the mutual friends will be there, and I'm not that crazy about the birthday girl's other friends. If nothing else, they make me feel old -- she's turning 28.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Nora!!!!!

Turns out I had seen one part of it before, rememered it vividly. I must have walked in on someone else watching it as some point and caught just 20-30 minutes. odd.

Now lunch and maybe changing sheets.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh good, it only took a dozen or so tries before I got the wireless keyboard working. This is important because it has all sorts of useful controls on it, like turning off the sound....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Going back to the microwave conversation, I just heated up some Trader Joe's taquitos in my toaster oven, and I realize that part of it for me may be that my favorite food texture is crisp/crunchy, so convenience foods in the toaster oven are yummier for me than convenience foods in the microwave.
