But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Two tragic signs I saw today:
1. At the LIBRARY they had a flyer of their upcoming movies, one of which was "God's and Monsters."
2. A professionally printed poster for a Halloween party which was going to have a prize for the "best custom."

Seriously, people?!?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

After working on the new house until 9:30 last night, went back this morning and mudded all the patches in the drywall. Doing drywall taping is so much easier than most construction stuff with the added bonus that people think it's a real skill and get impressed, so it's extra fun. Came home at 2:00 for a couple of hours of packing and sorting. The DH has been adamant that we have our yard sale here the day after we move so we don't have to move any of that stuff (Friday-move, Saturday-yard sale) and I see the logic, but am expecting to be unable to move a single limb next Sunday.

Tonight, seeing a friend's band at the Farmer's Market and then going to see Michael Clayton.

Today is not going well. More vomitting and diarrhea. Devi bit through my fingernail while I was attempting to pill her. I now have tuna to dissolve the pills in and a pill shooter. The liquid meds make her foam at the mouth so I don't know how much is actually getting in her. She's being really picky about eating, but I don't know if that's just because she normally grazes and I've been missing it. And she is looking skinny.

I think I'm going to call them and beg for injectibles, and barring that, have her hospitalized for treatment. On monday, because of course they are closed tomorrow. Fucking hate this. And hate how it's so similar to Mister Kitty's mysterious ailment in that it came on so goddamned fast and out of nowhere and I can't think of ANYTHING they could've gotten into, so I don't think it is related.

Ugh, Sara. Sorry. I hope she gets better shortly.

That sounds about right. You're impressively productive!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oof sara, so sorry.

Robin, I love moving so much I want to fly out there and help. ION, the idea of a yard sale just makes me look around and ask myself why I still have so much stuff. (more books listed to sell today)

does this remind anyone a bit too much of Happy Fun Ball?

Tonight I cut mac's hair. I was hoping to get another space bag filled with summer stuff, but I just do not see it happening.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor sarameg.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Poor sarameg!

Watch out for that cat bite -- I had one on the finger last year and had to go on antibiotics. Ones that are deep enough to go through a fingernail are definitely candidates for infection. Don't hesitate if its ouchy, as all you need is Devi AND you being sick.

That's a great picture, Kat.

We were in the family room at the care facility. They rolled Grace's crib, her vent, her IV stand all into the room for us, which was so great.
