I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I thought that was what "Islands In The Stream" was for.

yes. Also," Dont Worry, Be Happy"

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can comment intelligently on Sesame around the world. Apart from Canada (and that one is an, "I think". To my knowledge, it's the same, but with French instead of Spanish),

And I can testify that as a young child going back and forth between home in NY and grandparents in Canada, this was the coolest thing EVAH!11

I don't think replacing an earworm with a worse one counts.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Cash, i love the new house. that master bedroom is monstrous and full of windows, which is awesome.

sorry to hear you were full of headaches on your vacation, ita. that's no way to spend a vacation.

i've been taking it easy today because i'm pretty sure my endometriosis is attempting to have a flare-up. stupid ovary. stupid uterus.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The bit that most stuck with me was the "For What It's Worth" woodland animals being hunted segment.

We heard that song this weekend (yeah, we're old and play oldies radio sometimes, so sue me) and I acted that whole segment out for the DH.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Please. I'm not old, and it's on my iPod. Gets played pretty regularly. Not sure if it's on my classroom mix or not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

that's no way to spend a vacation.

At least I didn't have to cook or clean or mix my own cocktails.

I need to check! I think my new narcotic meds make alcohol taste bad. My mother looked at me with a very "You're going to keep throwing yourself at that wall until it or you breaks, aren't you?" expression when I voiced this suspicion.

My mother's old hernia is killing me.

See, she had a hernia and had to wear an abdominal brace as a child. It mostly resolved, but she had to be careful about certain things, like sneezing. So she got into the habit of bringing a knee partially up to tighten the muscles when she sneezed. My brother and I picked up this habit, despite not having to worry about our guts spilling out. The result is that when I have a real doozy of a sneeze sneak up on me and neglect to bring up a knee, I don't tighten up my abdominals and OW, everything gets all strained.

So my mother's now-gone hernia hurts me.
