Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The only thing that tempers my JT love is his insult to Prince in his song "Give It To Me"

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Can't wait to look at Cash house when I'm on home computer!

My fave Muppet Show memories:

  • Mah-nah-mah-nah (sp?)
  • Time In a Bottle when the muppet grows old during the song. Made me so sad as a kid (but I loved it)
  • Another one that I just barely remember had two dudes in it calling each other "old bean." My BFF as a kid and I took to calling each other old bean for a while after that.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Mahna Mahna is a great bit!! My brother, sister and I would go around the house singing it, even in college (Kip would start with "Mahna mahna," and Kris and I would break in with "Doo doooo do doo doo!").

I liked the goofy cruelty of the Muppetphones, with the guy bonking the little Tribble-like things on the head to elicit the right tone of "Ooooowwww!!" and had to constantly "Tune up!" and reorganize them when an "ow" was out of order.

It is pretty funny to think about these two scrawny 7 or 8 year old girls putting on British accents and calling each other old bean!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Particularly if you squinted with one eye and chuckled at each other.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My family always did the Doodlebugs (?) "Let's go for a ride in the family car!"/"the family car!"/"the family car!" routine. We would probably still do it, given the chance.
