Scola, are you going back to school?
No, I was just wondering out loud why Theo was having dreams about work when she just went back to school.

t Skipping in order to whine
t Whine whine, I'll probably have to work all night, as is always the case with that specific report to that specific research grant because I always get the data on the very last minute from the seventeen thousand people who collaborate on it
t Whine whine
Oof, that tag never closes. Whine whine about that, as well.
So, how is everybody doing? I hope you have absolutely lovely Sunday mornings, to make up for my whining whine whine. I'm too whine-y to threadsuck and actually, you know, do the polite thing and read and find out. Whine whine. Um, or something.
"It's no secret you turn to potatoes in times of need." -- Daniel, Ugly Betty
Teppy, a few weeks ago I got a tape from a friend with the beginning of "Ugly Betty", the first season, and a "You *have* to see this!" excited recommendation. We had an Israeli version (of the original telenovela), which was mostly silly, and not much more than that. My friend assured me that the USA version is great. Your tagline makes me guess that you agree with her?
(For the record: I'm not spoiled, your tagline doesn't spoil me, because I have no idea who is who and what, other than the very basic frame of the story and the existence of a character named Betty.)
Wah wah wah. I think I do have a cold. It's at the stingy eyes, weird poolwater up the nose sensation, neckheadache stage. AKA, beginning of the Whineathon.
sarameg and I can form the whinings-club. Which do you prefer to be, president, treasurer, secretary, just-an-ordinary-member, or why-do-you-bother-me-with-such-nonsense?
Um, I mean, I hope you feel better, and soon. Even sooner than my deadline.
I suspect whining would derail the nomination process...
I hope your deadline is met without too much more trauma.
I've at least vacuumed and mopped. And cleaned the tub. And gorcery shopped. I did want to go down to the odd art museum (name escapes me at a moment) down on the harbor this weekend, but that didn't happen. Not much happened, actually.
Well, my deadline trauma amount depends on how much Word will cooperate, and how many mistakes I have to track down manually in the data that people sent me. Compared to the amount of ammunition chocolate I've stored, of course. We'll see.
Also, you've accomplished really a lot for a self-proclaimed whiner. I will not sentence you to three cheerful sentences, but only because the museum was missed, and because I think calling a museum "odd" is lovely in and of itself.
I'm sorry you have to be working, Nilly, but glad you are here hanging out with is a bit.
I hope your cold is short lived, sarameg.
Lee!
The one upside of working now is that I let myself play online with you guys. If I'm here when my timezone says I shouldn't, at least I can get some fun, while I'm at it.
How are you doing?
AVAM. American Visionary Art Museum. It was making me crazy to not recall.
I'm whiny, too! But at least I'm doing laundry, so I'll have clean underwear for tomorrow.
