OK, Quizno's, I'm all for bacon, and I'm all for alfredo sauce, but you say, "Creamy bacon alfredo sauce," as if it's a known thing. It's not! I mean, I'm not opposed, you understand, but... throw in an "Our delicious, new..." in there, and I'm more comfortable with the whole thing.

I'm with amy--I have been known to buy lots of chicken and put it in the freezer in little baggies, but...then I get home, and i have to think about defrosting the chicken, and I decide I'd rather just have pasta. Or, I think "I'll be smart! I'll defrost teh chicken in the fridge, and eat it tomorrow!!" and then tomorrow I'm running around to a show, and don't ahve time, and suddenly it's a week later, and I'm like "Wait, is that chicken still good? I dont' wanna risk it..."

I'm only good at pre-planning if ti means there are meals in my fridge ready to be microwaved. If I actually (miraculously) make a big batch of something and have a few tupperware containers of it in teh fridge? Golden.

I'll make soups and stews and the like and freeze them in baggies or small ziplock containers. One day of cooking in bulk, and I have enough prepacked frozen meals for a month of lunches.

Boneless skinless chicken breasts. Already divided into individual packages. Or boneless chicken thighs. Really easy to divide into individual packages cause you just count however many thighs you want to a bag. (Weigh if you insist.) If you don't have the quart freezer bags you can get those at Costco too.

Also Boca burgers and turkey burgers. No need to repackage. Count out as needed and cook frozen. Also good deals on mouthwash, toothpaste, dental floss. IF you brush and floss every day you will go through Costco quantities of these before you know it. If you use soy milk and have room, the Kirkland 12 pack organic soymilk is repackaged Silk. No refrigeration needed until openining.

Also costco egg substitute - if you use egg substitutes regularly two people can easily go through a Costco multi-pack long before expiration. Ditto costo frozen orange juice.

I'm pretty good about buying the jumbo tray of chicken and putting it into sandwich bags with marinade. Haul one out the night before (um, excuse me, I gotta go do this) and dinner!

I also cook huge vats of stuff and keep a few days in the fridge and freeze the rest, if there is any. But I'm a very boring eater.

My mother indoctrinated me early. I love seeing older place (and new ones, but they aren't nearly as cool these days.)

I love my 18V combo pack. My sawzall has been put to good use more than once. I'm also very fond of the circular saw I have in that kit.
