I am so tired. I can't stand it. Noah teased us, with two weeks of sleeping until 5. Now he has rescinded that behavior and is up at 3:30 again. Which means by the time he's fed and back asleep, it's 4 and I have only an hour until I wake up for work.

Dilemma. Sleep for that hour and have difficulty getting up or not? Just remain awake.

Really neither of those is a good option. I vote sleeping from 4am until, say, 8. How about that?

Today at work I have to do reviews. I have to write up myself for my boss and do my direct reports. HAVE TO. Of course, it's the first day in forever that I don't have big scary deadline breathing down my neck, so I just want to lounge around.

Psst, Jesse, Burrell's birthday is next week. So it's Burrell's birthweek, not "day", but I still think it means you deserve to lounge around and have a fun day. I'm sure Burrell won't mind.

It's so interesting for me to read (um, I mean, skim) your college stories, because here the system is so different. You choose a subject, two at most, and all your classes (other than maybe a couple) are in that subject. So nobody who studies anything in the Humanities would ever have to take any physics or math (beyond the statistics necessary for their own work, of course), and vice versa.

In fact, I wish things here were more like your system, because I *wish* I could take some classes that sound really interesting, even though they're not physics. But, alas, I can't (or, well, I may be able, but will have to pay so much extra for it, I still don't do it).
