All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

When I was in IL I discovered that Matt's Chocolate Chip cookies are also very good indeed.

I just discovered these recently when I realized a focus day was really going to suck and that the crew would need treats. They are tasty.

Because books.

Not a cookie, but the all-butter poundcakes from Well-Bred Loaf are a huge favorite of mine. Thick, individual slices, with the top all crusty and sweet ... Yum. I don't know if they're around anymore, but you used to be able to get them at any deli in NYC.

Wow, I misread "deathrock" in Jilli's Press post, which was temporarily startling.

Mmmm. I would like some of that poundcake, please.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I never really got into the habit of non-nationwide dessert food, I guess. But my passion for Mr. Kipling's apple and mince pies is vast and true. He just gets around. And there was a place near my job in Montreal that had great apple muffins--the muffin tops were huge and had great big chunks of squishy apple in them.

Otherwise the things I swear by are savoury.

Well, I still have the headache and he knows. Bleargh.

I am so tired. For no reason. Or very little reason. Last week I was screwed up for several days and stayed up late and woke up early, so I know I was sleep deprived. But Thursday night I slept for 10 hours. Friday night I slept for at least 8. Saturday night I slept for 9, and today I've taken at least one long nap and I still feel completely worn out.

And it's not like, "I'm a little sleepy," but like, "I need to sit in my car for a minute before I carry 4 library books up 3 short flights of stairs" bone-tired.

I wonder if I'm getting a cold or something. I kind of hope so, since then there'd be a reason for this.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am so tired. For no reason.

Gravity is increasing. Science has shown it. Or will show it soon....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Man, I am absolutely LOVING Dirty Sexy Money. So fun and over the top!

OMG Yes. Peter Krause is adorkable in it, and I love the older Darlings' relationship.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Cult Cookies: Molasses ginger cookies from Traditions Cafe in Olympia WA. Also the "blondies" Borders used to sell years ago, but no longer does (at least in my area).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

When I was in IL I discovered that Matt's Chocolate Chip cookies are also very good indeed.

The oatmeal ones are virtually indistinguishable from homemade. Delish.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG Yes.

Right? I kind of don't understand why everyone I know isn't talking about it.
