If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Aw, so pretty.

Also, I see this all over the place and I'm confused. What's the D for in GSD? Dog? Cause I think that's kind of implied in the GS.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

White GSD Puppy! Her ears are all floppy - awww.

It's really rather horrible how dogs have discovered our vulnerability to the Cute. Just a few minutes ago I was scratching my boss's dog's head. I stopped, and she laid her head down on my leg and looked at me with her sad doggie eyes - until I started scratching her head again.

Damn that doggie!

I love that ad, sumi. I am easily amused and it cracks me up.

The status is NOT quo.

Kat, my mentee asked me to pass along her thanks for your advice about local grad educational programs. She's looking into CSUN's program since they have an English specialty. So thanks!

YAY! Glad I could be helpful. CSUN has a rep as being actually practical. My friend supervises elem teachers there and another friend works at the high school that is a charter roughly related to it (NAHS... Northridge something High School).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

There's a theory that we're hardwired to see immature traits such as proportionally larger feet, heads and eyes, as something to take care of, presumably so that babies don't look like lunch. Many dog breeds were created from breeding for immature traits, because they're what we're programmed to think of as cute.

Kat - was it you that had offered K-Bug some SAT type advice? She is retaking on Saturday and starting to stress over it.

Yeah, that all makes sense.

Also, pet owners tend to have a slightly longer life-expectancy. So in a sense, dogs and cats are breeding us to like dogs and cats....

eta: IMO, a cool symbiotic relationship....
