Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

'Out Of Gas'

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Nora, try the Austin Motel. It's right down Congress Avenue--take the Dillo to Sixth Street, etc. Walking distance to the Congress Avenue Bridge (where the bats are). It's clean, neat and family owned. It also has a nice little Mexican cafe next door with excellent food (El Sol y La Luna).

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Are there any boutique style hotels that you know of in downtown Austin? I've already looked on the marriott site, the starwood site, hotels.com... have already investigated The Driskill...

I like The Mansion [link]

Man, I'm bored. I already ate lunch and I can't read half the posts on my friendslist because they're all talking about a Supernatural episode I haven't seen yet.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You should write me a Heroes story. You know what kind. Or that other story we were talking about the other night.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hanson's married? And I'm not???

I use the fit option all the time when printing spreadsheets, and my co-workers hate me. It's not my fault I have good eyesight. I just hate spreadsheets more than a page wide, as well as ones where a given cell is multiple lines.

Luckily I have access to a printer that prints on ledger. But sometimes I want to use the plotter just to make it easier.

Cleaning out my Outlook inbox I sorted by size. My Enormous [sic] email has been deleted--now to pare down "Huge" and "Very Large."

I'm so tired that I can't remember my own mailing address. Mentally I'm maybe capable of drawing narrative stick figures and making them do the kissyface.

You should try impregnating your girlfriend.

Oh, god. Two of the ERs I go to have started requiring pregnancy tests before giving me my meds. Dude. Unfair. Especially if you have me waiting an undetermined time before being taken to a room. I up and told a couple nurses how long I've been NGA, and to this last one I tried "I have these drugs so often there's no time for me to get pregnant inbetween!"

I haven't dared ask what they would or would not do if I were pregnant.
