I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Hold down the power button on the front of the unit for a few seconds.

Hmm. I don't think there is one, but I'll have to take a closer look.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What Tom said.

So far I love the DVR I got from DirectTV. It's all logical and easy-to-use and stuff. Crazy!!!

GC's new 'do = super hot!

Cashmere learning to surf = super cool!

I need to memorize the lyrics to 99 Red Balloons today and figure out how to get a bunch of helium-fillled red balloons by 5 tomorrow when I have ZERO free time.

oh and do my job etc.

Just pretend you're singing the German version and sing "blah blah blah" instead of the lyrics.

It's for a karaoke competition so the lyrics are actually displayed on a monitor but there's so much more time for showboating if you learn the actual lyrics! And showboating is what wins prizes!!!

I thought I might have to do the song in German which would have been funnier but much more stressful.

Luftbalons!

That's the only word I can ever catch in the German version, but I sing it hard.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Luftbalons!

I watched a documentary on Leni Riefenstahl once. At once point she talks about using Luftballons to carry a camera. My friends and I all turned to each other, "Wait, how many luftballons?"

Spinach and egg souffle: I googled the song - this amused me:

VH1 Classic, an American cable television station, ran a charity event for Hurricane Katrina relief in 2006. Viewers who made donations were allowed to choose which music videos the station would play. One viewer donated $35,000 for the right to program an entire hour and requested continuous play of Nena's "99 Luftballons" and "99 Red Balloons" videos for an entire hour. The station broadcasted the videos as requested from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST on March 26, 2006[5].
