None more cute! I loved the picture of concern for the tinier baby. HA!

I love Matilda's smile as she gazes down on her cake. She knows what's commin'....
I like Matilda's expression in "Caketastrophe family tableau" -- like, "Mom, WTF?!? I've *seen* cake in my short life, and THIS is not cake!"
I love the ribbon on Matilda! She looks like a present herself!
But she looks happy enough to be willing to try it! Smart girl, that Matilda.
ita, it is a sad article. I wonder why girls get concussions more frequently than boys in the same sports?
Because boys are LAME. Actually -- was lacrosse one of the sports? Boys wear helmets and girls don't, right? That doesn't explain soccer or basketball or whatever, though.
I think reporting is a big deal, Kat. None of the guys talked about concussions until a big deal was made of mine.
One of my fellow teachers got concussed (knocked in the back of the head with a stick, fell to the ground, bleeding, and couldn't get right back up again) during the same test they wanted me not to take, and when I challenged the guy who'd tried to "protect" me, he said "well, M wasn't suffering from post-concussive syndrome." I told him that was because M was right in the middle of the concussion.
The next day M denied post-concussiveness but mentioned he did feel like he'd been out all night drinking the night before.
Sure, dude. That's something completely unrelated to the great big whack to the head you took.
I am very happy to see people paying more attention, and it's being paid across gender lines.
Okay, not at work yet. Head hurts very badly. Please tell me I can go back to sleep...
In other news, Isiah Thomas was found guilty (liable?) of sexual harassment.
This makes me incredibly sad. He was, once upon a time, one of my heroes. Sigh. What a jackass.
I used to love him too, Aimée. But by the time I got to Michigan he was already acting like a prick. As long as no one bursts my Joe Dumars bubble I can still cling to the Bad Boys good times memories. At least a couple.

Amen to that. And his playing style aside, I still love me some Laimbeer. (Although, truth to tell, loved his playing style. And mimicking it is what got me kicked off my 6th grade basketball team. By my own father. Hee.)
