Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The whole Delta thing makes me happy, like I finally get something by virtue of the fact that I am a nerd.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The whole Delta thing makes me happy, like I finally get something by virtue of the fact that I am a nerd.

I get lots of things by virtue of being a nerd. Strange looks, mostly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Goes well with the magical spleen.

I still hold hard and fast to my not a nerd nor geek stance, so I am going to say that knowing delta = change is not nerdy.

Mine is the next size up from the single size. It's larger because I wanted one that had removable pan thingies.

My fingers are BURNT and I blame my grilled cheese sandwich.

I'm slowly watching FNL. I think I'll be able to send my whole set to someone who likes the show more than I do. I mean I like it, but not enough to tote the DVDs around.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I use the triangle for "change" in my notes and people were confused - it is a total misues, but good shorthand.

I abbreviate my abbreviations. As long as I'm the only one that needs to decipher them, why should anyone else care?

So my power just went out. Except for the new (as in the past year) security lamps. Weird. No storm, no wind. I'd call in but I hear my neighbors doing so.

Laptops are great.

And thank goodness for battery operated alarm clocks. BGE's estimated uptime is 2:30 am. Turned off the power to the tv so as not to wake me up at a ridiculous time, going to go to bed.

Damnit, but the metro is still working. Usually, as long as they have power, we do too. Shit.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Related (only in that this is b.org and I am talking about my office) - I was eating cheetos today with chopsticks and EVERYONE was all WHA?!?!

I got an incredulous reaction from a co-worker by doing that last week. Who wants orange fingers if there's an alternative?
