Yeah, the amount of brown sugar I need to heap in to make oatmeal vaguely edible probably invalidates it as a healthy breakfast.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Add me to the inauspicious Monday list. Matilda got a big ol' goose-egg on her forehead and I missed my train hence arriving 15 minutes late.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Frozen fruit, like berries or cherries, is good in oatmeal. You can put them in cooked oatmeal straight from the freezer and they'll defrost fine, and cool down the oatmeal.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I find oatmeal problematic. I want to like it. I try to like it. My liking is really helped by lots of sugar, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I hear that. Really, I like flavored instant oatmeal the best, but I can't believe that's any part of a healthy breakfast.

I'm a fan of putting toasted (sugared, of course) coconut on my oatmeal.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I tried to buy a loaf of bread yesterday that didn't have high fructose corn syrup. I had to look through about eight brands.

Or refrigerated applesauce -- sweetens the oatmeal and cools the oatmeal down.

I add a drizzle of honey from a local bee farm (well, not *farm* -- apiary?), because I keep reading that eating local honey will build up some immunity to local allergens.

I also especially hate all the teachers who a) send me everything in word to update the class, when there are only one or two changes, but I don't know what they are and b) ask ME what should go up on Blackboard. Um, you are the teacher, not me. I'll put up whatever, but frankly, everything is easier if you just put it up yourself, typing directly into Blackboard because the stinking cut and paste from word wonks up every bit of the formatting and makes me look dumb, unless I PRINT OUT THE DOCUMENTS AND TYPE THEM IN. But the professor has already typed them once.

Okay, even if I had ever taught in a place that had someone who did this for me, I can't imagine ever asking them to do my own d*mn work!

The status is NOT quo.

I recommend Miltons.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mmmm. Oatmeal.

Today is much like any other Monday so far. Can't end soon enough for me, and is certaing to get more stressful towards the end.
