All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Wasn't the doomsday date on X-Files Dec 22, 2012?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tommy, I think that google did hurt.

So you probably didn't figure out 'Why 2012' either, did you?

Huh. I was gonna say I didn't realize it went back that far. But then I remembered - 2012 is when the Mayan calendar "runs out" so some argue the Mayans thought the world would end then.

eta: And I'm gonna guess that Dec 22, 2012 is Winter Solstice....

I dunno. I just remember because it's my nephew's birthday.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

OMG is this SNL live tonight? It must.

Killing me so far.

What'shisface with another song vid. I am sure it will be all over iTunes/YouTube in about 5 secs. That threw me right back to LL - I Need Love.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Mayans were handy with a calculator. Their Y2K problem was twelve years later than ours!

Scrolling through lingerie as I attempt to get sleepier. I'm looking through Agent Provocateur and it's a whole lifestyle away. Most of the stuff so far (extra picture of Maggie Gyllenhaal, BTW for anyone that saw the five or so that came with the news of her posing) doesn't really go under clothes. Either it's bulky or is just plain toy.

Seriously I just watched it again - that is some funny stuff - catchy of course too. Also could Adam Levine be any cuter, and the end cameo - was unecessary but funny.

Dec 22, 2012 is when I'll turn 40. So whatever's going to happen, it's probably my fault. Sorry.

Although, given how my birthday parties tend to go, an apocalypse might not be so bad.

I've been to one 40th, I think. It was an extravagant bash, with most parties flying in to New York and participating in a weekend of activities that ended with a huge party somewhere I don't even recall.

I think of that party sometimes, when I think of getting older. Will I ever be that adult/rich? Well, not both.

Nother relative, same side, had his 50th in Jamaica (he lived in Michigan full time) at an expensive resort. I guess maybe I could be the sort of 50 year old for whom that's plausible.

Why rush, though? I have two years before a zero birthday anyway. Well, one and a half.
