I am sorry sarameg
Natter 54: Right here, dammit.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm sorry, sara. If it's any consolation, I'm sure she knew how you felt.
oh, sara, how sad. I'm sorry.
Thanks, but don't feel bad for me, I barely knew her, but am glad I did. Send anything you got to her family.
It doesn't seem real. I've done this before. I still don't irrationally believe Lorraine is dead, but she died when I was 16. I still expect to see her. I wouldn't be surprised to see her. Nor Christine. Ridiculously, I need to see the body when it isn't...age or something. I saw 3 of my grandparents. The fourth, I knew it would happen. But all the others? The lizardbrain still thinks they'll appear.
She was a good person and a great neighbor. I wish only I'd had another chance to tell her that
I don't think most people tell the important people in their lives that kind of stuff.
I'm off to No Shame Theater, performing an old piece about sex and pasta
I don't think most people tell the important people in their lives that kind of stuff.
I once had a dorm-mate stop me and tell me how much she appreciated who I was. It could've been weird or something, but it was totally platonic and ...well, it was college. It made a big impression, though. And yet? Still don't do it enough. I try, though.
When my grandfather died, I couldn't remember if I'd told him g'night & I love you that night (we were visiting. I saw him carried out, blue, the next morning) and that lives with me to this day. I get kinda freaked if I don't remember if I've told loved ones I love 'em when I sign off.
I'm so sorry, sarameg. It sounds like you were lucky to have known her and we are all a little worse off that she is no longer among us.
break a leg, BigD.
I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor, sarameg.
I'm seriously wondering if I even want to watch GA, which makes me sad. Perhaps I should just watch something from S1 or S2.
-t, I left work before you posted your second post, but I'm glad it wasn't a bad question, and best wishes to you and Henry.
By the way, I may need to make you go to Petaluma with me soon. The red purse I found when we were there before is falling apart, and I need your shopping-fu to help me find a replacement.
I have shopping-fu? Good to know. Petaluma would be fun. Have I mentioned that my new house is not far from Vacaville, home of the Nut Tree Premium Outlets?
You did not. Perhaps we should try that instead/as well.
