I'm going to take off in a half-hour or so and start my vacation a bit early--yay!! I just finished putting in my vacation time into the time-tracker and PTO pages, so at least that's up-to-date. I do have to pop in on Monday afternoon for a meeting that will supposedly give us a heads-up on what's going on with the departmental reorganization, but that's only a 30-minute meeting. Here's hoping I still have a job that afternoon!

I'm so sorry, Cash. Mine's not completely gone today either. I do a thing though where I put ice on the back of my neck and on my forehead/top of my head- it's like I'm trying to give the fucker nowhere to go. It at least gives the drugs a chance to work.

I am ready to get home. I'd like to take one final stab at ridding myself of the pain before my friend gets in from NY. I have a full weekend and no time to feel ill.

Went for dinner with a chick who really self-medicates with clothing shopping. She'll buy bra/panty combos for $200. I goggle and boggle. I think my $50 bras are a big deal, but then they do fit perfectly, even though they mostly resemble nursing bras.
