So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Mac!!!

You shared a bed with your BF at home, Cash? I so don't come from that accepting a family.

I don't either, ita. My parents wouldn't even let my sis and her fiancee share a bed. He had to sleep on the sofa bed in the un-heated basement.

Whenever my brother brought a girlfriend home (or on vacation with us,) they shared a bed . Of course, I think my parents are less uptight about this sort of thing than their kids.... Ok, than me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I shiver at the idea of having sex in the same city as my parents (and, in all honesty, I think it only happened once)--we have a big old no-go zone where nookie is involved.

You know, I have had a couple migraine twinges today, but nothing over a 2 that didn't respond to low-impact meds and steadied breathing.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Oh! Heck, I think I can go home now!

I'd like to share with you all what a puzzler it is to try and construct a test to be given four weeks from now, when not only do I not quite know what I'll be teaching, I haven't yet learned the stuff. Right now it says, "Draw this:" with a big blank space, because I need to design something that will assess what they, and therefore I, will learn to do... in the next four weeks.

This is due tomorrow.

These could be useful, and not only in a mean way.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh! Heck, I think I can go home now!

Yay!

::sets water to boil for pasta, loads up the DVD player with due South::

thanks for all the congrats. I took his bike to him when I picked him up from afterschool and it rode it home. terribly exciting.

ita - it takes loads off in many many ways. traveling, paying people to get him on the bus each day, having to take him in to school each day, having to have school assign him a helper, school making him sit at teh time out table at lunch, him hating being different at school, him being afraid of meeting anyone new, being able to go to park...
