(Just had one of those moments, typing that above sentence, where I was like, "Oh my god, I have a son! Hey wait, I also have a four year old and I'm married and I'm 35. How the hell did all this happen?")
That is so me (um, if you add a few years to the age). Secret admission? Every night I go in the bedroom to watch them sleep and smell their warm sleepy smell. Every night. I hope that's not too weird.
Uh-oh....
NBC Greenlights "Knight Rider" 2.0
NBC is bringing back "Knight Rider," tapping Doug Liman to produce a "Transformers"-inspired reworking of the 1980s hit action-drama series about a man and his indestructible supercar.
Peacock is readying a two-hour backdoor pilot for the project, with tentative plans to air it as a telepic later this season. Liman is open to the idea of directing, assuming his feature sked allows. If the telepic clicks, a new-model "Knight Rider" could be on the air as early as next fall.
I hope that's not too weird.
I think it's a job requirement. Also, sweet.

2.0? There have already been way, way too many Knight Rider sequels/remakes.

That's one of the scenes in The World According to Garp.
And I did that with Emmett every night until he was probably about 5 or 6. Since Matilda is in bed with us now, it's more an issue of not smelling her in the morning.
Sometimes I wonder if when Annabel is 19 and home for the summer after her freshman year in college, I'm still going to want to look in, just to make sure she's OK and hasn't kicked all the covers off and because she looks so peaceful when she's asleep.
I think my parents would still do that if they could get away with it.
OK, I'm a terrible person. I just got a great-news email from some family friends about their son's court case, and my second thought was snarky about their use of Comic Sans.
