Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

He's a hell of an actor though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't decide if being seen but not in an identifiable way makes you more ninja than not being seen would.

Koan for the ages.

Those giraffes look surreal. Watching hippos fight was also funny, but with more of a conviction that might bury their differences and kill the onlookers themselves. Seemed to be about who could open their mouths wider for a big old wet kiss.

We talk about graceful degradation in my work, too. I like the term.

Watched Private Practice and DSM while holding Grace last night. That might be a nice multitasking thing to keep up with. I liked DSM more than I thought I would. Partly because it amused me to see that Baldwin playing supposedly competent.

Grace and Noah are six months old today. Time flies. Of course their adjusted age is a little over two and a half months.

Grace and Noah are six months old today.

Which means it's my six month anniversary at work. Happy halfsies, kids! Just in time too, since we're not allowed to use vacation time during our probation period, and I have to go home soon!

Can I just squeal? This is where my dad's celebrating his birthday. I show up on Thursday, but they don't come up from the capital until Friday, so I get a day of lounging all to myself. Of course, I had to move up a doctor's appointment so I could lounge medicated if need be (however, drinks are free, so I can help myself in a pinch).

It's weird--I paid full price for my room. Never done that in Jamaica. Either I'm cotching with my parents, or someone knows a someone.

Not cheap. But fucking beautiful.

If I must have migraines, let it be reclining in the pool, or bobbing in the ocean.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If I must have migraines, let it be reclining in the pool, or bobbing in the ocean.

For real.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That looks wonderful, ita. I hope the migraines stay in the US for a change.

I just called in sick to work, and am debating the application of Nyquii. I may watch DSM first though.

Plus I get to plan a travel wardrobe. I actually like packing, because I like planning and being hyper efficient.

I think I will take a lot of dresses.
