Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I figured out what I was doing wrong with the DVR! I had the TV on the wrong input. But I think I hate the new remote. Change is hard. I will say, as much as dealing with Time Warner can be a PITA (the automated phone system hung up on me like five times), everyone I actually get on the phone could not be nicer.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tell me something nice, anything at all, about your week.

I managed to get same day doctor's and acupuncture appointments.

On that note, I'm off.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Paperdol--the weather is going to be beautiful this weekend. You can enjoy that. Also, "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" starts tonight. Snarkalicious!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm just blue. Unsure if it's a med issue or what, but it's a sticky and mucky sort of blue.

One of my neighbors suddenly got very cold feet about being written about, and has become terribly paranoid, so I'll have to leave her out, which is a crying shame, I tells ya.

Haven't heard back on my pitch, either, which is making me a little paranoid.

And they're painting the office, and the fumes are making me feel headachey and nauseous.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Hec, do you know when your 33 1/3 comes out?

I don't know. I thought I was too late to get it out before xmas, but since they're pushing for it now I think maybe they'll press it forward.

I'll ask as soon as I turn in the manuscript.

I have a friend who needs it badly. She loves Tom.

That got my attention!
