Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, I will postpone any potential mocking. FOR NOW.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Talk, people! I don't want to work!

Those are really cool, shrift.

Thanks! They're a lot brighter than they look in that picture. I'll have to camwhore later.

Okay, I will postpone any potential mocking. FOR NOW.

I also got a nice but boring pair of silver frames, so you can just pretend I'm wearing those right now if my so-hip-I-can't-see-over-my-pelvis-ness is threatening you!

Your new glasses are cool, shrift.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You are too hip for me. I got a haircut yesterday, though.

And since the boss is out on vacation the rest of the week, there are murmurings that we should all wear jeans tomorrow.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The way I see it, in the US there is a tendency to eat huge portions and have very little exercise as part of daily life - then the media pumps out an "AMERICA IS THE FATEST NATION EVER AND IT'S GETTING WORSE" campaign every few month (truth? not? who cares). In US society (maybe others, I don't know) there is a premium put on thin and/or physical prowess (athletes for example) and possibly as a result USians have a imbalance (perceived or real) between behavior that leads to fat and values which seek thin. The gym/nutrition/diet industries foster both ends of the machine - the psyche of the country is reported to us as fact whether or not it is and I totally think it changes people's self-esteem.

Ooh, I like those glasses, shrift!

That reminds me, I have to make an eye doctor appointment for October, because my prescription has changed radically this past year, so much so that I have had to take my glasses off to read things in dimmer light or smaller print. I think it's time for bifocals.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Those glasses are great.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice glasses! My mom has multiple pairs of glasses which she swaps out depending on what she's wearing, and it makes me jealous sometimes.

You are too hip for me.

Just call me Stylish McNerdypants!

You totally get to mock me if I ever buy eyeglasses with bling, though.
