I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Reaper v House is going to be a tough one. I Tivo'd House last night b/c we had the Reaper pilot on DVD, but...I really liked it. Stoopid non-dual-tuner Tivo.

(Unfortunately, my torrenting days are over b/c otherwise NBC will make Cablevision turn off my internets. Maybe iTunes can help.)

Darn. Didn't watch either one last night, and painter's coming... oh wait, I won't be home Thursday night anyway. Parent conference night. Oh YAY!

Did you guys see this?

Nike unveils shoe just for American Indians

Interesting. Among other things, they concluded that "The average shoe width of men and women measured was three width sizes larger than the standard Nike shoe." Which must make shoe-buying totally suck.

I don't know that I see the "culturally specific look," but what do I know?

Well, huh:

New (and old) research shows that exercise may actually do fuck-all for weight loss. Oh, and diet doesn't do much either. Basically, trying to lose weight is a big waste of time all around.

But according to that bastion of feminism the New York Times, women today are less happy because we spend less time dusting than our mothers did. Seriously.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap. Does Fox put House online or something? I am so screwed. Why do I watch so many shows?? A normal person would not try to follow this many shows.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Seriously. I hope some of these shows get canceled soon.

Happy birthday Matilda!!!

Oh, I think they do! Of course the page won't load for me right now...

For a woman, time with her parents often resembles work, whether it’s helping them pay bills or plan a family gathering. “For men, it tends to be sitting on the sofa and watching football with their dad,”

More evidence that My Family Is Not Like Other People's Families. Apparently, there's less "Tell me again about Thomas Becket?" in other households.

Yeah, me too. Unless more elderly people live with/near their daughters than sons? I mean, my mother does more "work" for her mother, because she lives downstairs and is mostly blind. Actually, I think my father does most of the work there, so that still falls apart.
